What You’ll Do
Deliver patient-centered care by performing pre-procedure assessments, creating individualized care plans, and ensuring safe and sterile surgical environments.
Administer medications and IV fluids, collaborate with surgeons, and document with precision to ensure top-notch care.
Actively participate in ongoing training and competencies to stay at the forefront of surgical nursing excellence.
What You’ll Bring
Licensure: Current Montana RN License or multi-state compact license required.
Experience: Two years of OR or PACU experience preferred.
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CNOR, or PACU certification preferred—or we’ll help you obtain them within six months of hire.
Education: BSN preferred but not required.

Qualifications:
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
BSN degree preferred.
Current HCP CPR certification required.
Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.
Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Performs patient assessment. Utilizes all available sources of information and incorporates the patient’s perception of illness.
Develops an individualized plan of care for each patient and updates the plan throughout the visit as appropriate.
Consistently identifies safety issues concerning the patient and staff during visit.
Independently reviews medication lists and provides ongoing medication or treatment education at the directive of physician or advanced practice provider.
Coordinates with healthcare team to provide continuity of care.
Participates in the development and delivery of education and competency validation of clinical staff.
Utilizes department Standard of Care and individualizes care provided on an on-going basis per department standards.
Administers medications per provider order.
Demonstrates a commitment to professionalism while undertaking and completing all department competencies.

Schedule Details:
Please know schedules and shifts are subject to change based on patient care and department/organizational needs.
Schedule: 5 x 8hr shifts M-F, no weekends, no holidays, NO CALL
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
